About the Author
Darius West is a filmmaker, visionary storyteller, and teacher of God's Word with a deep passion for creating meaningful, impactful content. Known for his work in the 2023 documentary Mic Drop: The Culture of Christian Hip Hop, Darius masterfully blends faith, history, and culture into compelling narratives.
Born and raised in Charlotte, Darius' creative journey has taken him across the United States. He migrated to San Diego in the late 1990s and later moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue a career in the film industry. Along the way, he embraced his calling to be a teacher of scripture, delving into its original context to bring fresh understanding and spiritual insights to his audience.
Over three decades, he has steadily pursued the vision God revealed to him at the age of 19—a multimedia creative arts and media company dedicated to advancing God's kingdom on Earth. Today, Darius continues to walk in faith, embracing his destiny and sharing his profound gifts with the world.
